Anna’s Notes
This Sunday and Special Messages
Vacation: After a very busy Holy Week, John has declared a holiday from practice Wednesday (April 8th), and leading singing Sunday (April 12th). There will be only one combined service in the Sanctuary that Sunday.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: One of our members had to leave the Tenebrae service last night due to an allergic response to someone wearing a fragrance. Please be mindful of others and don’t use any product with a scent before rehearsals or performances.
Update: John has requested that we keep our line tighter when processing and recessing (no more than 3 feet apart). Remember, don’t start singing until you step inside the Chapel. Also, when recessing, the lead persons should stay in sync with lead on the other side coming down the steps and line up closer to John and the clergy.
Upcoming
Wednesday Choir practice will resume April 15th.
Prayer Requests
Marcia Anderson wanted the choir to know that she has been diagnosed with colorectal cancer and has asked to please begin praying for her as she begins working with doctors through next steps to treat the disease.
Carolyn Pryor is requesting specific prayers that her cell counts remain high enough to continue chemo on April 1. Please pray that her side effects remain minimal and the tumor shrinks. She will meet with the surgeon following final chemo on April 22. She hopes to return to choir April 8th.
Marcia needs our prayers for her general health issues. She is seeing a nutritionist and Physical therapist.
Shirley provided a praise report for her daughter’s recent medical procedure.
James shared that the spot he had on his pituitary gland has grown. The choir layed hands on him and prayed that it will be completely healed.
Please continue to pray for John Mounts’ health and their move into a senior living apartment. We look forward to Loretta rejoining us soon.
Les Oliver needs prayers for pain relief as he recovers from sinus surgery.
Continue prayers for John with his throat issues.
